Happening Events in October. . .

Finally, after finishing the whole CFA syllabus, at least i have some time to upload and blog about the events that happened in October. It has been a busy month with lots of events and activities.

1. Genting with my piggy on the Raya week

Since we haven't been to anywhere after our Pangkor-Taiping-Penang trip, so we had decided to book the promotion room for RM38.80. We drove up and it was really cold because there was mist all over. I really enjoyed my trip there although again I didn't win Uncle Lim because this was our first trip to genting after we had planned for so long. It always didn't work out everytime we wanted to go. Somethings always pop up during the eleventh hour. Anyway, here are some pictures during the trip.

2. Convocation for UWE

I got to say I didn't really let the graduating atmosphere sink in because I was busy busy busy preparing my Valedictorian speech. The ceremony was due to start at 130pm but I had to be there by 11am for my 1st rehearsal. I got to admit that, despite countless practices in front of Ms V., Ms Esh, Mr. Nama and the rest of the program directors, I still had butterflies in my tummy. "Relax, relax", I told myself. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Heart beat faster and faster as the real ceremony drew closer. After my first rehearsal, I realized that I was already late to collect the robe. So, I asked Mr Adrian, the Mass Comm lecturer, to let me pass through aka "potong Q". I swear hundreds of eyes were staring at me as I walked past them to get to the front. Pls don't curse me. hehe. I guess that was the privillege of being someone important on that day. So after getting my robe, I had to rush into the hall for 2nd rehearsal. I seriously missed the opportunity to hang out with my friends, to take memorable pictures together. What to do? Big guy, big responsibility. The opportunity to speak on behalf of the whole graduands has already make it worthwhile. It was a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will come only once unless I graduate again in Sydney after my Masters studies, which I doubt I'll be the Valedictorian again.

3. Pei Yan's Birthday
Date : 26 October 2008
Day : Sunday
Venue : The Apartment, Curve

The last birthday celebration was Richard's at Umai-Ya Restaurant, Damansara Uptown. I miss the gathering session with my college mates. Jovial, carefree and lots of laughter surround the atmosphere when we had gathering like this. Everyone is so tensed up at work, be it from working late for numerous nights or being fired left and right from the manager. Those who are in those situation will know what I mean. So, an event like this would definitely spice up their dull and monotonous working life. Therefore, work hard and party even harder. hehe. Oh well, it looks like I am the only one free now thus, I can always suggest this and that. Reality is everyone is stuck at work and thus, I am at home most of the time. Getting used to it already. Things are not that flexible anymore as compared to the life we had during university.

Anyway, back to Pei Yan's celebration. It felt good to see everyone again. As the saying goes, A picture speaks a thousand words. So, let's preview the pictures on that day.

The Apartment, Curve Damansara

oh yeah, before I forget, this birthday girl brought her camera to take pictures. but what she didn't know was that her camera has no memory card. haha. pei yan, pei yan~!!! hehe. . .

Mr Kenneth, our lecturer in TBS. so surprise to see him there with MARK FOO. ber-dating i guess. haha. anyway, it was nice to see him again.

Blardy Itchy Ass~!!!

You know what happen? Gosh. I sent Yi Vonn to pyramid today for class as usual. Upon reaching the entrance, I saw there's a shoot going on at the porch. It was the " Hip Hop Street Dance Battle Ground" by Astro, Malaysia. Gotten all excited about it, I stopped the car in front of the entrance, nearby the taxi stand. FYI, I love hip hop and breakdance. Also Krumping. So, since I have not seen any of these live, I thought to myself " Stop awhile and watch lar..."

That was the MISTAKE~~!!! Try and guess what happen next~!

THE CAR GOT CLAMMED~!!! What the blardy hell was that? Shit. I stop for 5 or 10 mins I think. As a result, they clammed my car. Darn efficient~!!! The sign says " Kereta anda telah di-CLAM. Waktu pejabat 8am- 12am. Denda : RM50.00. Tak kurang tak lebih"I added the last sentence. hehe.

What a day man. Earlier on, I woke up at 7.30am to go for my coaching at 9.00am. I woke up farking early to coach and earn some money and just to see my car clammed after that. What a wonderful day it was. Aih.

As usual, being Malaysian, there is always a way to settle things if u know what i mean. Putting up my sad puppy face and trying to beg for mercy,

Vinz: Bang, boleh settle ke? Please la...I sakit perut tadi... Lari ke tandas. Tak sempat beritahu security guard. Tolong le.

Guard: Sepatutnya kau beritahu security guard dulu. Ada satu, dua, tiga dan empat guards. Mana boleh tak bagi tau mereka.

Vinz, again, I tried to beg for sympathy : Tolong la. Tadi sangat sakit perut. Tak sempat bagi tau security. I masih Student. Bagi chance lar.

The actual fact was that I was standing with them and watching the dance. haha. Tipu tak kelip mata. hehe.

Vinz: Kurang sikit la, bang. Tolong la.

Guard: Mau tolong tapi CCTV dah rekod. Ok ok. Kalau mau settle, macam mana mau settle?

I told him I could only give RM20. IMMEDIATELY, they took out the clam. Efficiency doubled~!!!

Another guard : Pergi kat tong sampah sana, CCTV tak boleh tengok.

Reluctantly, I took out my RM20 ( which was my hard earn money) to him. Aih. This is what you called " ITCHY BACKSIDE". Drop Yi Vonn and go back home la. Why want to stay around? So that I can do charity by donating money to them, is it? Damn. . . Felt so wasted. . . Some more, 2nd year Anniversary is on this Sunday. I am planning to save for that. Mana tau, this thing happenned.

I totally agree with Shaun " SHIT HAPPENS !!!".
